The reason he is doing that is not because he thinks that you're relevant, or because he's salty about being out of the tournament, it's simply because your reaction amuses him.
Also, I think it's worth mentioning that you need to realise that most people don't take this game nearly as seriously as you do, and we have real lives, calling people eliminated etc isn't really an insult. Yeah we're out, but so what? At the end of the day it's just a game and we play for fun, it's not all about winning
