Tbf, that seemed like a more reasonable and in-context thing to ask then the league being changed to sword and musket.

What exactly is it about the phrase "default day" that people don't understand? You know there's a difference between "default" and "mandatory", right?

I don't know about other people but when it said default I assumed that if the match wasn't done by then it would be void for whoever didn't show up. I wouldn't be on for new years weekend so wanted to get this out of the way.

Yeah, but that's exactly the difference. It's the day that's used if a Captain doesn't want to schedule, it's not a day the Captains are forced to use.

So if the tear droppers don't want to play New Years weekend, just ask your captains to schedule on a different day instead of crying on the thread.

Draft is wednesday

Oatmeal has been replaced by Stryker as Captain, Red Viper has been replaced by James as Captain, and Risk has been replaced by Piktons as Captain. As Oatmeal and Red Viper did not respond to the invite in order to accept or decline returning as Captain they have been dropped from the league.

Draft will be this wednesday, any new players have until then to sign up, first matches will be this Saturday and Sunday.

so the first matches are on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? Makes sense

Alright, I didn't think people would still be busy with Christmas stuff by 930 at night.


But, fair enough, Draft is still happening this wednesday, matches will start next weekend.

Imma keep it real I'm having a kid with my wife around June so if this league is gonna drag on keep that in mind for my activity and if anyone drafts me.

Congrats on that, this season will definitely be over well before June, at latest it would end early February.

As things currently stand, 3/6 Captains have returned to Captain.

If anyone wishes to update their application to Captain, you will be considered as a possible replacement, in the event that one of the previous captains do not return.

As a note to the Captains from last season..if you just ignore the captain invite I will assume you do not have an interest in returning and drop you from the league, you will not just be moved to the player pool.

If a Captain from last season does not wish to return as a Captain, they must find a suitable replacement to take their place and get them approved before their resignation will be accepted.

If there are not enough Captains or acceptable replacements by Saturday/Sunday the new season won't be happening.
