Playoffs

The voting period to use the playoff system or not has ended. About half the people want to do a playoff system and half didn't, but in the end the no playoffs option pulled ahead. Almost 60 people voted in the poll and the results are still active on the thread to be viewed.

Rosters

Once again, rosters are due today. If a regiment fails to submit their roster, we will use whichever one we can find that appears to be the most up to date. After that, it is the responsibility of the regiments to make update requests. Failure to make the request may result in new players being unable to play matches, so take this very seriously. We will not be accomodating regiments with examining proof of membership 5 minutes before the battle starts. The referees have more important things to be doing during that period.

Is everything bait to you? In the league discussion, everyone has ignored the fact that the 4e is not what it was a few weeks ago and John Price is the one leading it at the moment. If anything was a bait post, it was his, not mine and even that's a stretch.


The WIP League Structure was posted during the week and there have been some changes made to it since then. The final structure will be posted in Challonge format tonight with the final structure and schedule.

Can I recommend a rule?

A regiment cannot willingly drop members of their regiment to force the opposing regiment to drop their members.
(ex. A regiment has 20 people. They drop 5 forcing the opposing regiment to drop 5.)

I oppose such a rule. I once made a strategic call to drop recruits to spec because they were holding us back. You should be able to change your line up in game during the match.
