Makes sense only if those groupfights are going to be 10v10 or something, so like mini RGL to not include that much people into it, so other regs like 91st, 17th, 23rd, 33rd got chances to play on the same level with others regs, not only 15th or kka dictating the meta.I don't see why it'd need to be a 10v10 as opposed to a 15v15 like normal. If the regiments are scared to compete in the GF side of things then just don't sign up ez.

The hardest part of being a host is naturally trying to please everyone so I think this is the best of both worlds.
Also what would you guys prefer for the EIC format next season? 4 Smaller groups or 2 large groups? Then into play offs.
Personally I am thinking 2 Large groups of 8 to make it more interesting. 4 from both to advance to play offs etc.

Most Regiments today struggle to even get to those min 15 players. I think we need to get away from the thought that every regiment/team can get at least 15 players together on a consistent basis. I can name at least 6 regiments that can reach 15+ consistently. K-KA, 15thYR, 91st, 3pp, Nr2 & 13thRS. I also imagine 17thJR will reach this soon too, I was under the impression 23rd could most of the time and also there are regiments like 18th or 47e who have a high chance of reaching this soon.I think you are bit out of time Herishey, since Nr2 is disbanded for a long time. 45e, 2eFusGre, 17thJR and even still 96y can reach 15. Also don't forget about turks, they've got like 2 regs which can bring 15 as well.

10v10 unfortunately is a waste of timeAlthough I think a 10v10 tourney for the regiments outside of the strongest bunch wouldn't be a terrible idea
