First steps in creating new map (final assault on the Malakoff on September 8th, 1855). There will be a lot more work, but there is something to show already :)

Turkish infantry arrives at the battlefield

BTW, if someone can provide me with a list of Turkish regiments, which took part in the Crimean campaign - I will be very grateful :)
I have enough information about Turkish uniforms of that period, but I found a little information about organization of Turkish army in the Crimea.

It seems that most of what I found is that the Naziam-I-Cadiet Infantry was the unit that was sent,  1st Battalion and 2nd Battalions of Infantry, and 3rd Battalion was lights..

Anatolian infantry. They lost theit bagpacks and greatcoats in the battle of Başgedikler (not sure if I wrote it right, it's from German Wikipedia), so Anatolian infantry even year later didn't have regular backpacks. Also yellow colour of piping was changed in 1854 to red, as the rest of the army had at the time, so in game there will be mixed uniforms.

Thanks! I already have all needed information about (nominal at least) organization of the Ottoman army of that time, which consisted of 6 corpses and auxiliary contingents, mainly from Egypt and Tunisia. I have also list of regiments, who defended Kars fortress in 1855, so if I won't find list of regioments or at least corpses, who were in the Crimea, I'll take numbers for regiments-in-game from there, especially since I'm planning to make map of siege of Kars.
Or maybe I'll name units just  like "Turkish nizam infantry" (regular infantry), "Turkish redif infantry" (reserve infantry), "Turkish chasseurs", "Anatolian infantry", "Egyptian infantry", "Tunisian infantry" etc.
