♞ 2023 Hussars 2v2 Tournament ♞

Introduction

After the success of the tournament in the same format within 10e_Huss, we've decided to host something similar and make it available to the public.
Considering the current state of NW (and expecially cavalry), we don't expect high numbers, however I'm hopeful that we'll still get enough participants to have a fun and competetive event.

Rules

Match Rules: 01. Fight Format: 2v2 on horse, medium combat speed. 02. Round format for regular matches: FT5. 03. Round format for playoffs (semi-finals, loser-bracket final, final): FT7. 04. No wallhugging, tea-bagging, delaying, trolling, trashtalking, etc. 05. No early dismounting - you can dismount after 30 seconds from the start of the round. 06. Keep global chat to a minimum. 07. Leaving your arena during a fight is forbidden. 08. A player has 5 minutes after the announcement of his match to wait for his teammate.       If he is still alone after 5 minutes, the match will start. The lone player can still forfeit. 09. If a team fails to show up 5 minutes after the announcement of their match, the opponents receive a default win. 10. The maximum allowed delay between rounds is 2 minutes. After that time, referee may call auto-go for that specific round. 11. People who aren not playing at the moment, must stay on spectator mode. 12. Information about matches (who vs who), the arena and the referee, will be announced on Admin Chat. 13. Once the team is ready to play, they must type "r" or "rdy". 14. The Round is started by the Referee, for example by typing "A1 GO", "D3 GO", etc. 15. In the case we don’t have enough referees, we might give to trustworthy players the ability to referee their own matches. Note: We'll decide whether to keep the current round format or reduce it, basing our decision on the number of teams at the end of sign-ups.

General Rules: 01. Tournament Format: Double Elimination Bracket. 02. Class Limits: Only Hussar class is allowed. 03. Roster limit: 2 players. 04. Teams are created by yourself. 05. 1v2 is allowed if one of the teammates disappears for some reason. 06. In case of accident (server crash, reset etc.), currently running rounds will be void. 07. The tournament is expected to last just one night. 08. If we fail to make the tournament last within the night, we will make play the matches left the next day, on the 23th October, at 8:30pm CET (7:30pm GMT). 09. The rules may still change in the future.
