Welcome to the fifth tournament of EGS Season 3 hosted by Voluble & DarkTemplar. . This season we had doubled our admin team and capacity to incorporate two leagues to create a pyramid system in the competitive community, we hope you enjoy this pyramid and format and we hope you continue to back us to look after the state of the community!
The tournament will be hosted on Sunday the 23rd of January at 20:00GMT. There will be a transfer ban for this tournament. The tournament will be played in the standard 6v6 format. Teams will have to fight their way through a groupstage in order to claim victory.

Every team must read the following rules as they are very important and EGS rules are different compared to normal tournaments.
We were kind of disappointed by seeing that even some captains didn't even read the rules. Please, read it all.

Roster Rules - Rosters are capped at 9 people as you are aware. - Players MUST sign up with their community names ONLY. No roleplay names allowed. - Must also use community faces rather than randomized ones OR you face punishment (refer to EGS Rules) - Transfer deadline is set at 5pm (17:00 GMT) the day before every tournament . After that, not a SINGLE change will be allowed. [close]

General Rules - Melee speed will be set on medium. - The only class allowed is the line infantry. - You aren't allowed to spawn if you are not playing. - All matches will be ft7, apart from the Final (ft10). - A good behaviour is expected. Insulting/toxicity will lead to 1 warning then a suspension from matches. - Cheating once will result in a permanent ban of any future EGS tournaments. - ID MUST be provided, if not, players with ID's missing won't be allowed to play. It can result in a temporary ban or even more. [close]

Match Rules - Once a match has been called, each team has ~5 minutes to get ready. - If the first round is not started within ~5 minutes, the responsible team will be punished, as 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. - After each round, each team has ~1 minutes before they must have typed 'r' again. - If the next round is not started within ~1 minutes, the responsible team will be punished, as 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. -The rules above are controlled by the referee - if the referee says ~5 or ~1 minutes is up, then the time is up. -If there is clear delaying in a duel at the end of a round after 2 minutes then a warning to the fight will be given. If the player continues to delay or run from the duel then the admin can slay the player. -In any case of a server crash/map change if it is to happen, then all current rounds WILL be VOIDED. -tiebreaks will be; 1- wins vs tied opponents ; 2 - points [close]

Introduction Spoiler Welcome to the last 6v6 League 1 tournament of this season. The season is comming to its end and the teams are busy trying to grab their playoffs positions in the overall team standings. This tournament again has only 10 participating teams, due to the disbands of 10C and Hydra earlier this season. All of them will try to end Envys consistent top 3 run. [close]

Prediction Spoiler Envy is, once again, the team to beat. Even with a 'weakered' they were able to crown themselves as the 5v5 champions. After the departure of their captain Zenon plus the spaniard Marquez they were able to convincingly win the last tournament. Only dropping 7 rounds in the playoffs and 6 in the group stage. NPP actually were able to take the most rounds, 5 to be exact, from the reigning champions. Envy actually lost the last 6v6 tournament to 10C, a team that disbanded since then. This 6v6 tournament is probably going to be their redemption tournament. They will try to do everything in their power to win it this time. Last time we saw Enigma exiting the tournament in the round of 8 against Envy. Facing the best team in the season wasn't the best case scenario for the Germans to potentionally grab their first gold medal. This time will be different. Due to 10C's disband, Enigma is the new second place in the standings. This helps them to prevent an early exit against Envy this tournament. Even with a weaker roster than before, losing Wolpi and Gerher, they will try their best to get at least a top 4 finish or maybe higher. The competition behind Envy is on the other hand very tight. Drug Abusers, Invictus, EyeFuckers and Animals could all be the runner ups. Animals had three transfers with Zenon, Marquez and Slavic. With these transfers the team is probably the most dangerous than ever, trying to contest the teams higher in the standings. Invictus is probably the team with the highest possibility to reach the final, as long as they dont have to face Envy before it. You can obviously say this about any team. Fluss, CCCP and NPP are probably the three teams that will have the toughest time in the whole tournament. As usual these teams from the lower midfield will try to steal either rounds against the top teams or even win again some midfield teams. Snappers, a midfield team in League 1, is trying to push its limits this tournament. With the addition of TwisteR, they have a good CIS player, that will try to help Snappers to reach new heights. EyeFuckers showed close but convincing matches in the last tournament, even reaching their first finals where they fell short against Envy.   [close]

Players to watch out for Spoiler The players to watch out are definitely going to be Herishey, Achilles, Chuckster and probably the rest of Envy. Envy is in good form to win it all. Not only because of the team play, but also of the good form of every individual in the roster. Herishey was crowned to tournament MVP last tournament. He will try to keep that form up and help Invictus to achieve new heights. [close]

I've heard no complaints regarding the servers, quite the opposite infact. What issues are you having and I can look into this to see if there is a cause for this, and fix it as required.
