Just a bunch of people who do nothing for the community moaning about someone who tried to do something for it. The usual.
I kinda share Fralla sentiment, the last bit seem a bit out of place knowing Shadey is one of the best player to have touched the game in the last years. Of course, there is always a 'what if' that you can use for pretty much anything while writing previews. It's also worth saying that Hypno's impact in NWWC particularly was often impressive for a player who was regularly undervalued compared to some of his pairs. But even though replacing him will be no easy task, I imagine there are not many people who consider likely the possibility for Shadey to end-up being a downgrade and that's the only thing Fralla was trying to point out I think?
The previews overall are very solid and add so much coherence/context to a competition so don't take valid criticisms as a lack of appreciation for yours or the other writer's work Heri. Especially from someone like Fralla who's been around long enough to know what hype content represents and never stroke me as someone disrespectful. But I would have found interesting to mention, in the place of the 'downgrade/upgrade argument', a bit suggesting potential teammates that could benefit from Shadey's addition, or instead, make him more comfortable in a team environment he is not the most familiar with compared to the rest of the UK team.
