Napoleonic Wars Fantasy League [NWFL | S2] - Overview

Welcome to the Napoleonic Wars Fantasy League! Following in the footsteps of the European Fantasy League on native and the previous NWFL, the NWFL presents the Napoleonic Wars community with the opportunity to play with different people and teams in an event to my knowledge which did like the whole competitive scene. Captains will be given budgets at the start of the tournament and have the opportunity to buy the team of their dreams (or not as the case may be and competition decides). The tournament format will be 10 teams, 2 league brackets and then the top 3 teams from each league go through into a knock-out stage. The tournament will be between 5v5-7v7 format depending on sign-ups.

For me what makes this tournament an interesting proposition is seeing and participating with different selections of players, not seeing the same teams as every tournament. For me this makes the tournament more engaging for everyone, makes captains choices about whom they buy more meaningful and generally improves the atmosphere of the tournament. Big thanks to the native guys who hosted this and Deacon as we have borrowed some tables from his original thread and a final thanks to Moskito for the graphics from last time.

When arranging a match, make sure you have employed one of the referees or one of the organizers to referee your match. You must inform a referee of your match time at least 24 hours prior to a match. A match cannot proceed without a referee present unless approved by the organizers. To sign-up for a referee you should leave an application on Sign-ups thread.
