The Ultimate 4v4 Bragging Rights Tournament

Everyone welcome to my 4v4 Tournament! I always wanted to host a melee tournament but could never do it. However, I decided since I have a perfect opportunity to host one why not. I will give a $40 prize to the 1st place winners. Also there will only be 16 teams Max because I don't want the tournament to last 2 hours and will only accept 4 referees Max so they can watch each arena. I will review all the ref applications before choosing the 4 refs I want. So Please tell all your friends to sign up!

Tournament date & time is August 5th at 9:15 est

Tournament Rules

[1.] It is a single elimination tournament.
[2.] No shooting, swords, or fist.
[3.] Must be only Infantry units.
[4.] Any act of autism, trolling, or disrespect of the refs will result in a ban ez pz.
[5.] The first 2 rounds will be a ft5. The Semis and 3rd place match will be a ft7. The Finals will be a f10.
[6.] If a team doesn't respond in 5 mins of his match being called, it will be a 5-0 forfeit for the other team.
[7.] Steam me or any of the refs if you have any other problems or issues.

Welcome to the thread of the 45e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne!

Regimental History

The 45eme Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne was originally created in 1643 as the Regiment de la Reine-Mere. It was part of the Armee d'Italie in 1792-94 and formed part of the l'Interieure and de Reserve during the period 1795-99. A flag taken at the fall of Mantua on 30 July 1799, and currently on show in the Army Museum in Vienna, belonged to the 3e bataillon 45eme and has the Pont de Lodi, Bataille de Castiglione, combat sur la Brenta, Bataille d'Arcolo, 1er et 2e Bataille de Rivoli and the Bataille de St George shown on it.

in 1802 the Regiment saw service in Switzerland and from 1802 to 1805 it was part of L'Armee de Hanovre. The Regiment took part in the campaigns in Austria, Prussia, and Poland and was sent to Spain and saw service at Talavera, Chiclana, Albuhera, Alba de Tormes, Vittoria and in Germany at Dresden in 1813. The rest of the regiment were seeing action at Nivelle, Orthez, and Toulouse. In 1815 it took part in the Waterloo campaign.

Lodi 1796 Austerlitz 1805 Friedland 1807 Essling 1809 Wagram 1809 The Standard of the 45eme Regiment As on the previous versions from 1812 and 1813, the silk lined tricolour was trimmed with gold. Although we don’t know exactly why, the dimensions are different, starting at 80cm and later becoming 120cm. As it was needed quite quickly, it was decorated with simple embroidery of golden coloured laurels. The golden coloured letters are also embroidered on a black material and stitched in place. The names of the battles of ESSLING and WAGRAM are included, which is odd as we know that the 45eme Regiment were fighting in Spain.

34e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne

Welcome to the thread of the 34e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne!

Regimental History

The 34e was created in 1775 as the 2e and 4e bataillons, Regiment de Touraine. Later that year, those battalions formed their own regiment called the Regiment de Savoie-Carigan. In 1791 it was given the numeral identification of 34e Regiment d'Infanterie. During the French Revolutionary Wars, the regiment saw service at the battles of Nerwinden, Hondschoote, Wattingnies, and Fleurus. The regiment was reorganized into the 34e Demi Brigade in 1793, consisting of extra battalions from the 2e bataillon, 17e Regiment d'Infanterie, 4e bataillon, Volontaires de la Moselle, and 3e bataillon, Volontaires de la Meuse. It was once more reorganized in 1796, becoming the 34e Demi-Brigade d'Infanterie de Ligne, consisting of  the 1er and 2e bataillons, 67e Regiment d'Infanterie, 85e demi-brigade de bataille(1er Bat, 43e Regt d'Inf, 1er Bat Vol de la Haute-Marne and 5e Bat Vol du Haute-Rhin), 148e demi-brigade de bataille(2e Bat, 80e Regt d'Inf, 7e and 11e Bat Vol de la Gironde, 2e bataillon, Volontaires de Paris, 3e bataillon, Volontaires de Seine-et-Oise, and 3e bataillon, Volontaires d'Arras.

The 34e continued its distinguished service in the Napoleonic Wars. It was present at the battles of Ulm and Austrelitz in 1805, and the battles of Saalfeld, Jena, and Pultusk. In 1807 it was present during Napoleon's Friedland campaign. It was Deployed to the Iberian Penninsula in 1809, where it was present at the bloody Siege of Saragossa, as well as the battles of Bussaco, Villagarcia, Badajoz, and Burgos. During the 100 Days Campaign, it fought at Ligny and Wavre, but was not present at Waterloo. The Regiment sported the battle honors of Austrelitz and Friedland on its colors. It was among the most widely traveled regiments of the Napoleonic Wars, serving in Napoleon's most important campaigns.

Dear ThunderStorm, My Friend and Reg member [34e]Cdt_Jack was banned yesterday. He realize this when he got on the server the next day. Apparently he was banned for accidently tking another regiment member name [34e]Grd_Faitpo then left the server. I Wanted 2 say upon his behalf that he didn't mean to tk fatipo then leave the server on purpose. Jack and Faitpo Left at the same time because they were bored of it. So if u could please unban my friend [34e]Cdt_Jack he didn't mean no harm to Faitpo or the server.
