This new Cavalry Group fighting Server aims to provide a concrete, reliable server for the entire cavalry community to utilise in order to hone their skills. The server boasts an experienced and friendly admin team, well known and respected by the cavalry community. Our server will be using a variety of handy scripts, all serving an important purpose, whether it's to help tackle rule breakers or track your stats for our online database, it will be sure to make your experience on the server a lot more enjoyable. All of the maps featured on the server are all community made, some old and some new, and we do plan on adding more maps in the future to keep the atmosphere feeling fresh. Requirements for winning?
Play on the server!
As previously stated, the server scripts track all forms of stats and are stored in an online database. At the beginning of the month the admin team will choose at random one of these stats, and the best performing player for the month, within that category, will be crowned the winner. This will change every month, and may not always be based on stats, so make sure to check here to see what the requirements are for winning.
Player rewards?
- Custom skin which you will have available for the entire month, until the winner of the new month is announced. (This will replace the hussars trumpeter for every nation). This is a universal reward and will be given every month.
- Further rewards will be announced with the commencement of a new month, and will usually always be different, this can be found below.

I would assume that have to do with the fact that the name was purchased by Glenn. Along with the name he had some of the old maps and scripts possessed by the previous owner. Glenn then gave the name to Caulaincourt if I am not mistaken.

How active can you be?: Depends on the season. During exams activity will drop. But since I have no life whatsoever nothing is stopping me from being very active. Also depends on how dead the community will get since it has a tendency to die out for a few months and then return out of nowhere.
Why do you want this role?: To feel important and wanted in society, stop people from trolling and put heavies in their place. I also feel it is important that the admin staff does not solely exist out of Germans, Frenchmen and Brits. Belgians are needed for diversity and to represent the European ideals of peace and brotherhood.
Do you have any relevant admin experience?: Been a vital part of the admin team on the actual decent cav gf for several years. I am a gentle and peaceful admin but I also do not tolerate disrespect, t-bagging and racial slurs. I believe that banter is important and will not immediately slay anyone unless I know what they are saying is supposed to be intentionally harmful.

When people break the rules it affects everyone and I want to be there to stop it immediately so we can make sure to keep those kinds of people out of the server. I have recording software and I'm also able to be active in the TeamSpeak. I don't tolerate when players break any rules of the server and will take action immediately. I am a mature player who jokes around at times but I also am very serious when the time is needed. I am a very loyal player who takes being a staff member very seriously even though it is a job that doesn't pay actual money. I can bring Honesty to the Community as I always tell the truth and own up to my actions and will not hesitate to punish those who break the rules.

I am a well-mannered person and very well spoken. I do not inflict flame. I should be chosen as I have an increasing passion for this server. I do not let it get to me and do not get annoyed when players are being horrid. I was recently mod on RealRaidz which usually got around 200 players each day I know how to Screen Share and I'm not an abusive staff member. I give everyone a fair chance before taking action and I'm usually a pretty chill guy. I know what I'm doing and how to do it. I know all the basic commands and what I should be looking for when Screen Sharing players. I am also a team player and I know how to cooperate to get things done in the server. I am currently in Juinor High and I play Hockey for my school team. I am an A-B student and I take advanced classes. I work best in groups at my school and I think that could really help me out with being a Staff Member on the server. I spend most of my time on Napoleonic Wars. I am a friendly guy and I get along with most People as long as they are respectful to me, I am respectful to them. I have a small following on youtube but I intend to expand that by playing on Tournaments in hopes of gaining more followers for my channel and more players for the server. The time I would be able to play is at least 2-3 hours each day during the week and during the weekend I am able to be on whenever. And be willing to help anyone in need on the server.=)

Once again it has come to my attention that this community has a huge bias towards the French, Brits and Germans. The complete utter lack of respect for any other member of the European community is simply astounding. I am happy to see at least one Belgian and one of our cultural brethren from the north be allowed to join this illustrious group of men. But I can no longer watch from afar and say nothing.
For too long have I witnessed Belgians and Dutchmen being discriminated by this community. For too long have I watched my countrymen be ridiculed, bullied and mocked by those who think they are superior. But in reality, as we all know, these three “nationalities” are nothing more than small minded men with micropenises and a need to compensate for their clear lack of intellect. The French can’t count above 1, the Brits don’t even know how to make food and the Germans are so stupid they don’t even realize they’re invading a country.
I know that I am not alone in this sentiment. The Spanish, Polacks and Scandinavians all have felt this same discrimination. The Italians have already been bullied out of this community (RIP Frank and Picco), the Balkan people haven’t been seen in 5 years and the other Slavs have vanished from the Earth. This community is shrinking by the minute and still these so called ‘superiour countries’ continue to treat us like shit. The Spaniards are unnable to do anything (mainly because most of them are locked up in a basement), the Polacks have no voice since they mostly play as heavies and no one fucking likes them and the Scandinavians like to pretend they're British simply because they won't get any respect otherwise. It's simply disgusting.
It is also clear that this server is biased towards the 8th. A regiment so stupid. So utterly retarded. So filled with idiocy and toxicity it's astounding. And to then choose the most retarded and delusional people (the so called "Harry Potter Group" who lower their already low IQ by watching movies on fucking discord) from this already braindead regiment is simply an insult to all of Humanity. Anyone who joins this regiment simply proves they are a weak-minded individual clearly in need of mental help.
But despite the insane lack of intellect that is clearly shown here, I still would like to wish this server good luck. This community must be rebuilt and this project is sure to bring life into the fucking corpse that is the NW cavalry community. And what a great idea it is to use money to lure people in, genius move to get people to tryhard even fucking more.

By the way, It seems to me that the GF servers for infantry were doing resets every 3 months or at least regularly. That makes it possible to see the progress

Broken rule: Delaying, in knowledge of being transgressing a server rule.
Description of the incident: although it is not a very big violation of the rules, it has angered me because it has made people leave Cavalry's server for delaying, and being at night it will not fill up again :'( . Jerry and I were dismounted and he he was delaying on horseback... I tried to call an admin (Tommy), but he was absent, so like any napo sucker would do, I invited him to go to the afterlife (typical kys). In the end I asked Jerry to kill himself with me so that the round would end and stop delaying it... a dramatic suicide pact that never should have happened. By then people had tired and gone. Lastly I have mentioned the owner and lord of the server and all of us, as shown in the image above.

Name of the rule breaker: Egos_United_Coco_Ayala
Description of the incident: It started by LaSalle and me criticizing Coco slightly for his/her/their extremely passive play, which was evident as soon as I joined the server. I believe both of us had purest intentions and wanted to help Coco improve. It wasn't a clear case of stalling yet, even though Coco's teammate quit due to boredom, and for the remaining of the incident it was LaSalle and me vs Coco. Coco then tried to play less passively, which resulted in him/her/them getting slaughtered for a few rounds.
Then Coco switched back to passive style and has managed to kill LaSalle and dismount me, after which he/she/they announced a clear intention to stall by saying "3 min 44 left, enjoy LaSalle". Even though Coco did sort of move in for an attack once or twice, these safe attacks were separated by minutes of obvious stalling. During this time it has been revealed to me by Coco that my mom is pathetic and that I should have been "avorted". Needles to say, it was very stressful for me to find this out in such manner, yet I have managed to keep my composure and hold the tears in, and have continued with attempts to reach the elusive troll with my sword, but to no avail, my legs were too short to compete against maneuverability of Coco's hussar horse. And so, as if Coco's words were a self fulfilling prophecy, the 3 minutes and 44 seconds have passed, with the round ending in a draw.
Then after couple of rounds of Coco dying due to not playing passively, Coco has repeated the incident after managing to dismount me, which has resulted in another 4 minutes of obvious stalling, and round ending with a draw (after again remarking in public chat that there are 4 minutes left). His/her/their occasional cautious attacks were separated by up to a minute of keeping distance, and not maneuvering in any sort of way which could possibly lead to an attack. The ultimate result was a complete boredom.
I never report people but this person needs a break, getting onto cav GF this early in the morning just to stall must be a cry for help.

For your information, the original ban wasn't a ban directly by me, it was a log ban that was applied after discussion among the admins. Furthermore, Shadey mistakenly unbanned you while unaware of the discussion among the admins which had concluded in us rejecting your unban application. Finally, before I banned you today, I confirmed with the other admins that you were meant to be banned, and in fact at that time, there was already a log ban in place that would have come into place upon a server reset. With regards to your accusations of admin abuse, you directly started insulting me when I told you not to start arguments which ended up in a temp ban. Immediately trying to start an argument with me after you joined the server the following day was not a smart decision to say the least. When you were slayed for your continual insulting, you wrote an entire paragraph of insults, culminating in you calling me autistic. Whether the logs have timed out or not, I still remember your actions clearly due to your sheer gall.
I hope you take from this the lesson that its not a good idea to deliberately provoke and then insult admins. All of this would have been avoided if you'd just stopped the initial arguments and insults, which you weren't even slain for, only warned (and even a warning is a strong word for it, as all I did was ask you not to tell felix to **** himself). Perhaps you will be able to behave more like a polite human being on other servers in future. Although I shall remain diametrically opposed to your unbanning on this one, at least while your attitude remains the same.

I wholeheartedly agree that the first slay was necessary, but you Tomas, clearly escalated the discussion. How any other admin could read that and not see my point is beyond me, but then again, I admin on a different server with a different mindset and set of rules. The fact that 90% of the logs is a back and forth between us where I am asking you to explain your previous actions is ridiculous. I will absolutely not apologize for that. I will apologize for the beginning and somewhat for the end, albeit provoked by you. I still find the majority of your actions and speech unreasonable and provocatory. The one piece of advice I will give you as a more experience admin (not on this server), is to remain professional and humble, especially when dealing with players asking for an explanation of your interpretation of the rules. Amazing that "Do not question an admin" can be given as an acceptable reason for a slay, that is extremely provocatory to say the very least. That kind of admining would never fly on Minisiege.
Again, the owner of this server has stated their opinion, and I will always hold that as right and final. So regardless of how we got here and our differences related to your conduct, the server owner has the right to do as they please with their server.

I have the misfortune of occassionally stumbling upon tomascadarn in certain circles we both frequent and many a time he pestered me too, finding ridiculous excuses to do so on every step. A very toxic and antagonistic person indeed. It's sad to see how many people turn into the "bad cop" and try to show off as soon as they receive any sort of power/authority in some internet community, such as that of an admin or regimental officer. I will personally speak to owner of this server, with whom I have a wholesome relationship, to make sure this type of immature and toxic beheaviour is cut short.

I wholeheartedly agree that the first slay was necessary, but you Tomas, clearly escalated the discussion. How any other admin could read that and not see my point is beyond me, but then again, I admin on a different server with a different mindset and set of rules. The fact that 90% of the logs is a back and forth between us where I am asking you to explain your previous actions is ridiculous. I will absolutely not apologize for that. I will apologize for the beginning and somewhat for the end, albeit provoked by you. I still find the majority of your actions and speech unreasonable and provocatory. The one piece of advice I will give you as a more experience admin (not on this server), is to remain professional and humble, especially when dealing with players asking for an explanation of your interpretation of the rules. That kind of admining would never fly on Minisiege.
Again, the owner of this server has stated their opinion, and I will always hold that as right and final. So regardless of how we got here and our differences related to your conduct, the server owner has the right to do as they please with their server.

On the server I have experience admining, I can see logs that go back much farther than a week or two.... how was I (or anyone) to know that your logs expire so quickly??

As an admin, you must know that I mean escalation in terms of punishments - Slays, Temp bans, Perm Bans. As I said, 90% of our conversation was about your interpretation of the rules and your punishments.... Happy to end this conversation with some minor corrections to your last set of assumptions. - Take your own advice - Just because you say something, doesn't make it true.
1. GUID number does not equate to time admining.
2. I've read your application request 660390, you've only been admin on small servers, you haven't actually been handling large amounts of random players over the years, side by side, it's very likely that I've experienced more players and situations as an admin on my server year to year, day to day. Of course, I could be wrong....but your application info combined with your actual conduct really only points to one thing.
3. We exist in two different bubbles, why would you think that your friends set some sort of standard? I can see that you don't play miniseige very often at all....so now I will assume that you don't really go outside of your cavalry bubble.
There's no point to this anymore, it's really just a pissing contest now.

With the next restart the server will feature the NeoGF Mod.
It is a complete rework from the old cavgf mod.
No old feature will be lost. All messages, assists and stuff will still be there, just with new options, colours and situational adaption.
Own Assists, teamhits (and beeing teamhit) will be standing out from the other messages, for you to clearly recognize.
Like before you will be able to permanently disable (and enable) the messages, if you dont like them, just more easily via the menu found when pressing V.
Additionally to the already existing stats table (now called ingame "Legacy-Stats") and the table resetable by admins for their competitions (called "Competition-Stats") an additional table was added, where each player can reset their own stats on their own likings to track their own progress or goals (called "Resetable-Stats"). Via the V menu you can reset your stats table, mechanism prevents an accidental reset. The day of the last reset will be displayed aswell.
Both the Competition-Stats and the Resetable-Stats feature now additionally damage to players and damage to horses (not including stray horses obviously). The Legacy-Stats do not include those, as it would just not make sense to add it at that late point of time.
Via the V menu you can display the stats of any of those tables, and also customize which stats you want to have displayed, when you join the server/new map starts.
Overall the menu is very simple and straight forward.
Last but not least you can gain XP for Assists (2xp Damage-, 3xp Dismount-, 10xp Bump-Assist), which can be used to either give a vote for 100xp to the administration about an unfitting map, or to give an award (also 100xp) to another player for several reasons (teamplay, kills, clutch, duel, nice to play with in general), which will be displayed on the server (and also saved to the stats tables).

Sadly the server provider I used decided to shutdown, so it got transferred to Oasis Hosting. Since then Ive tried to fix everything but their Server panel isnt working alot of times or having issues so I cannot really do anything.
