ugh.. how long will i have t sit around till Generation War  comes out in U.S.

hey its got a close name to Generation Kill.

Yeah it does,  kinda bummed it was gonna call Generation War.  It've should kept the title as Unsere Mütter Unsere Vater. :C
What's that translate to in real people speak?

"Our mothers, our fathers"

I remember pirating that show with subs months ago. Pretty neat but I dig Band of Brothers more.
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

Those series are seen equal to my eyes.  Band of Brothers was more focused on Combat and brotherhood while Pacific focus on the mentality suffering of a soldier took in Pacific. Quite difficult to compare those two together. Great series in different way.

I didn't like the Pacific that much because it switched too much between characters. If they had focused more on just one character and his comrades in arms I would have felt more related to these. Instead, they switched characters just as one was starting to become interesting.

Re-enactmentstuff: I hate the 'my unit was different'-types. You know, the ones that claim they can do, wear, and use anything they like because they were 'not regular troops'? I'm pretty sure every period has them, and they annoy the crap out of anyone who actually does proper research.

I feel like munk and I are the only people on this forum who play this game.
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.
