Reenactor Discussion

Hello Community

Feel free to discuss and form or era or historical reenactment. Share some of your experiences and fond memories. With the help of other community members we will keep all eager reenactors up to date with events and bicentinary's with locations and historical era.

Post decent places to get hold of authentic arms and uniforms as many people find it hard to find them.

Will keep improving this first post as we go along.

Haha, the woman who made our jackets had a nervous break down due to to much work XD If you have facebook you can search our regiment and just post something on there. A block called Keith Redfern should reply. Also it depends what you want to be?

Well just a regular infantry/musketman I suppose, I also got letters from Chris Durkin with information and an application form which I'll fill out when I'm ready.

I've been doing Roman military reenactment for the past three years, and would dearly love to try some Napoleonic stuff. It's been really hard finding reliable groups from my area of England, though. Most of them are based in the South from what I can find. Does anyone know of any more Northern based Napoleonic or even Civil War groups? I'm even willing to go American Revolution period if necessary. Just get me a musket :p
