Until you remove "cav knockdown" the entire game is worthless and unplayable. I demand that this be removed IMMEDIATELY. It is by far the WORST feature ever implemented in Mount and Blade. It completely goes against the entire ethos of the game and makes playing cavalry a game of complete chance.

I don't come onto this forum very often but this was worth it. I don't really understand why this was implemented. it hardly affects line battles or NA1 so what was the point? All it does is add unnecessary frustration to the cavalry community.
I've never heard of or seen this "cav knockdown" until now! Probably never been on a server that activated the option... Does it mean that a cav can get effectively knocked off their horse by a strong hit? If so, that sounds awesome, to me anyway. f*** the pony boys. B)if you got hit hard enough, there was a chance to get knocked off. I dont remember the threshold off hand damage wise. I believe there was an engine limitation that made it so you could only get knocked off one horse per life.(trying to remember what was said about it around a year ago :( )

When we whitelisted a guid it got admin rights automatically, but after this patch he needs to enter correct admin pass AND be whitelisted also.You will need to go edit the script file as they commented the whitelist part out.
Is there any way to eliminate the need for admin pass, correct me if I'm wrong.

1- The in-game game type changing function is not working, it's locked for some reason.

2- Server keeps opening a map named "Rhenish" itself, even though its not in the config file.
Can you please explain if these are bugs or is there a way to fix these issues.

I have 2 issues with the new patch;These things we don't have at all, I would assume its due to mods you put on your server or your client side, nothing we can fix. make sure you check integrity of your local files for steam, and dont run broken mods on your game or server.

Some people complain that the white list stopped working, actually the White list works fine.
We only removed the auto admin without password on GUID.
The reason is that you can spoof ID's by hacking the network data, the server would accept you, and hand you Admin.
and then you can destroy a server, ban everyone and the key auth server would only catch on that your ID is invalid in 20 to 60 seconds. and you get kicked off the server. by then the damage is done.
So the white list still works, but you need to enter the password too, its basically 2 factor authentication, you need to have the correct GUID + a password.
Also in the bottom of the scripts file is the commented out lines that auto give admin to certain GUID's in the whitelist, you can uncomment that code if you don't fear the security issue.
Enjoy.
