Not really. Rum was rationed, like most things. Water was quite easy to find for sea-sailing ships.

There was one time, I think at the 150th Resaca event, I walked past a period sutler that was serving birch beer and root beers. I just gave him my canteen and got it filled up with root beer. So that totally could happen back then too.

Oooo I'd love to, I'm in Illinois, so it's bit hard. I'm getting into rev war soon as 4th CT, the unit occassionally travels to east coast for several events. I'll let ye know.

1st Anti Fascist battalion or company I think.  Not sure what's the last bit but yeah they do partisan stuff, recent one was Leningrad, I think they went as police-volunteer or something like that. Atlantic coast based.

What we do here, after a battle, spectators (mostly kids) will storm the field and try find shells for souvnier, it has been successful that way. Win-Win, field is clean and children are happy.

Camo limited fur das Heer.   Camo unlimited fur das SS.  In fact, Plently of SS camo that when heer guys attempt to repair their camo item, they use pieces of SS camo.
