It depends on how you define the word 'liberal'. In the US, a conservative voter would never vote Liberal, while in the Netherlands (secular) conservative voters pretty much always vote on the liberals.

The Canadian Liberal Party, not liberals.

Classical Liberal.
In Canada, the left absolutely never votes centre-right, they just switch between our two left parties.

I wouldn't really call liberals left, they'd go right in the centre. If we had ranked ballots conservative voters would most likely always put them at #2.
?? Justin Trudeau is as left as Bernie Sanders, and farther left than the NDP. The "Liberals are centre" is some high school bullshit always said but never true.

yeah, one man and maybe his cabinet.

In the US liberal = social and cultural liberalism. In Europe liberal = free market capitalism. Completely different definitions.
Complete bullshit, lol.

For now all polls suggest that the National Front won't obtain the presidency of any region. But polls often tend to understate the National Front.

In the Nord, the Socialist Party has decided to withdraw its list. Thus the National Front is opposed to UMP/Les Republicains Xavier Bertrand. According to polls in this region, 68% of those who voted for the left on the first round will vote on the second. 64% of them will vote for Bertrand and 4% for Marine Le Pen (FN).

Apparently the only region where a FN victory seems possible is PACA, where according to a BVA poll, Christian Estrosi (UMP/Les Republicains) would win with only 51% (49% for Marion-Maréchal Le Pen).

The regional elections are based on a proportional system with a majority bonus: The winner obtains more seats. So even if the National Front doesn't win tomorrow, they will still have an important number of seats.

It's just that I'm not going to argue with you given your level of stupidity. All I'm gonna say is that I have the same suggestion for you when you are considering posting something that lacks any logical sense.

It's useless to answer to this uneducated brat.

Back to the topic, the National Front hasn't managed to obtain any region. The turnout has greatly increased compared to the first round (60%, 10 more points), thus it seems that people have greatly mobilized to halt the fascist wave. Also left-wing voters seem to have voted en masse for Les Républicains (UMP) in the regions where the Socialist Party had withdrawn.

The Socialist Party managed to keep a few regions. In Brittany, the Defense Ministry obtained more than 50%. In Aquitaine and Bourgogne, the Socialist Party obtains more than the two other parties (FN and LR/UMP), thus winning the region. However their total is clearly below the total of the right (FN and LR/UMP altogether).

Les Republicains managed to take control of 7 regions, while the Socialist Party has 5 (they lost 6). However, the regions controlled by the conservative party are twice more populated.
