Did they add recoil to weapons and/or non-infinite ammo to sniper rifles or is it still 1) spawn  2) get shot from the other side of a tiny map 3) repeat on drop zone (and other modes)?

Well considering the game has NO BULLETS, i seriously doubt it. xD

Lasers don't bullet drop.

Projectiles however like the Cycler rifle do and have a slower Bullet travel time.

I like to roll with the triple nade setup. Thermal Detonator, Impact Grenade, and then the dubstep imploder. It's the only way to roll.

Played it on friend's PS4 yesterday. I was left with a resounding meh. Most of the maps were meatgrinders, just spawning and dying over and over again. The 40 person modes weren't as fun as some of the smaller modes like Droid Run imo. Droid run was a lot of fun for whatever reason, I guess battlefront's arcadey style lends itself well to small maps and fewer players. Hero Hunt was also pretty fun, although the system they have where the person who gets the last hit on the hero gets to play as one next round is stupid and makes it so bad players never get to play as the hero. Would be better if it switched in order or randomly.

Thanks for the heads up, been waiting for it to go on sale for a while (only had the console version before and the disc was scratched ) .

20 planets, space battles, clone wars, 64 player capable multiplayer battles, dozens of unique weapons and vehicles, around 50 heroes and unique classes, galactic conquest, a nice little story mode, and instant action for $3, not bad.
