We are a prussian marine regiment for the Blood and Iron mod. We strive to have a good balance between fun and discipline and form a good and strong regiment.
History
Founded in 1852, the Seebataillon allready could look back on a proud and
long history of prussian marine infantry with origins as early as early as
1674. Proving it's worth in the Danish and the Franco-Prussian War the
Seebataillon quickly became an essential part of the Prussian Armed Forces.
Founded with 2 companies, the Seebataillon was constantly enlarged to a
peak of 6 companies in 1871, and later (1886) split into three different
batallions. Those batallions took important roles in defending the borders,
coasts and colonies of the German Empire. They were disbanded by the
end of World War 1 in 1918.
