You should change the format to a sort of RWT style if you want to keep it as short as possible with a limited amount of teams

https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=44671.0
So let’s just ignore someone like Maskman who knows next to nothing about leading and the capabilities of regiments performing well in a linebattle type of event.
To state that anyone on a “good day could beat the 77y/15thYR” is just a meme of its own, if that was the case why don't you beat the 77y or 15thYR then!?

We don't want a regiment to be eliminated from the league after only one match. With the current format, it will only take 5 weeks, it's only 5 1v1 to play..

Is this being advertised as low/mid tier regimental tournaments as Dams has said or is this open to all regiments regardless of their skill level/ tier?

As the 45thN Centre company might be interested if it was a low/mid tier regimental tournament, it would make a lot more sense.

We will balance the two groups in order to have an harder one and an easier one, we could put you in the group B if you want.

If you balance the two groups in order to have an harder one and an easier one wouldn't that make one branch of knock bracket extremely difficult and unfair.

Or would there be two separate brackets for knockouts? There aren't enough teams and its a lot more work + more chance for the tourney to be delayed. Also some regiments signed up might drop out post groups or even during groups - wouldn't be surprising especially cos there's not much appetite for 1v1s especially during June/July.

You seriously have to rethink your tournament unfortunately :(

Get in contact with me on steam if you really want to get this sort of event, pushed off the ground - I would be happy to give tips etc

We won't face any big issue.. it's a very simple tournament and we are not completely incompetent... If you don't want to attend it then it's fine but the NWIL will take place. There is no brackets for knockouts, it's two different leagues (league A and league B).
