I watched Dune a few days ago, I really enjoyed it and actually went to see it another time. It has become one of my favourite movies, and it's one of the better film adaptations of books (this movie is only Part One of course)
It's not without flaws, like the pacing might not be for everyone (it's a pretty long movie, which I like), but I would definitely recommend it, and watch it at the cinema if you can it is worth it.

They are fun to watch, but they feel more like a warhammer or warcraft fantasy than an actual Middle earth one.
