Why is the CZSK team just "contender" but some no-name nations like Ireland or Spain are "main contenders"? Did I miss something?

It doesn't look like CZ have the greatest of chances this year to be honest where as on paper the two nations you mentioned have a decent roster to make it to a reasonable place.
