If that was allowed to happen the entire league would be over pretty much. Point of draft leagues is for balance, dropping cwater to FA would extremely handicap Spartans team and whatever team got him would get a very large buff. Cwater is a good enough player to entirely change any team he is on.

then maybe don't pick spartan at the start for captains. Pretty sure the league wouldn't be over if cwater moved to FA, maybe make a team better sure, but not over. Captains aren't going to intentional mess up their team and drop their best players randomly.

How it stands right now the teams are pretty much as balanced as they were before. It would be great if Spartan came back but if he doesn't I imagine Aces will just get a FA of their choice
