Re: Beta's Shack Beta's Shack Dutch V0.1 Released! Pg 43 and front

I did mah research, I came onto things and this is what I found: The white flag the 7de is carrying is, indeed, the flag that was not issued until 1820. Why do they carry it? I don't know, I don't really care. They apparently based the flag on a wargame figure, how strange that may sound.

I truly think that the 7e carried a flag of 80 by 80 cm, white, with, in gold, '7e Battalion De Ligne' and 'Vive le Roi'. Why? Because none of the officers of the 7e actually spoke Dutch, and they were the ones who designed the flag (Every battalion could freely design their own), not the men. Why add something in Dutch, a language they didn't even care to learn?

Of course, that is just what I THINK. Point is, these flags:

Dekkers has become the community's designated old man with alzheimers who sits in the corner reminiscing about simpler times, happier times... "The spins" he wails "do you remember the SPINS!!!"

Unit name: Loyal Lusitanian Legion
Unit type: Light Infantry and Artillery
What unit do you want me to replace it with: UK 51st Light Infantry, UK Artillery
What Faction: United Kingdom

To distinguish the officer and the ensign, please use a bicorne, like in the last pack for the infantry officer only, they also ave a red sash, the ensign does not. The ensign in the infantry should use the officer uniform, but with the shako. The bugler/cornet for the infantry uses the same uniform as the rankers. If you can, please include the backpack that the British infantry use. Artillery ranker wore no coat, just their white undershirt, but if you don't want to do that, you can include their overcoat. The artillery train should use the same uniform as the ranker of the infantry. Also, if you're up for it, the infantry had a British light infantry insignia on the back of their hat, the artillery had an artillery insignia
.

Stockpile of pictures, hon.

Unit name: 48th Highlanders of Canada
Unit type: Line Infantry and Musicians
What unit do you want me to replace it with: UK All 42nd Units(Along with the Colours if Possible)
What Faction: United Kingdom

To Differentiate Rank and File from the Gentlemanly Officers, the 48th Highlanders had 3 Beige Horsehair Sporran Parts instead of 2 if you can add the 3rd Sporran part to the Officers Skin it would be Greatly Appreciated. Also for the Pipe Band i'd Like a Canadian Sergeant's Badge of Rank. And to Differentiate from Pipes and Drums and the Regiment, The Band has a Red and White Hackle Whilst the Regiment has a Pure White Hackle(Hackle's are the 3rd and 4th Pics.)

If he wanted 1776 French uniforms in pink, would it matter? It's what he wants, leave it at that. It doesn't have to be "historically correct."

In my personal opinion, in the case of ahistorical skins you should do them yourself because they're unlikely to really interest anyone else.
