The 32nd Regiment of Foot is one of the longest standing regiments in the NW community.
Created back in 2011 as regiment part of the Mount and Musket mod, we have carried the legacy and history of a bygone age.
Known for our discipline, respect and organization we strive to stand out amongst the many.

We do our official 32nd EVENTS every FRIDAY 18:30 GMT, SATURDAY 19:00 GMT and SUNDAY 18:00 GMT

Join us and take part in one of our four distinct companies. Play as either a line infantryman, skirmisher, artillerist or as the latest addition, cavalry.

Rise through the enlisted ranks by proofing yourself in battle and in training with your understanding of the unique 32nd drills, commitment to the regiment and disciplined mindset. Maybe you're even fit to become an NCO and drill 32nd soldiers into their finest forms.

Looking for men willing to serve and join the Centre, Light and Grenadier Companies!

The regiment was raised on 18-6-2017 as the '72nd "Duke of Albany's own" Regiment of Foot' by Colonel Wolffe and companions. The 72nd consisted of 2 companies, a Centre and an Artillery company. Events were only held on a modification of "Mount and Blade: Warband" called "Whigs and Tories". After the majority of the regiment and its members decided that they wanted to make the jump to NW we decided to rename the regiment to the infamous "92nd 'Gordon Highlanders' Regiment of Foot". We met with a lot of difficulties along the way, we lost a lot of staff due to different ideas and private matters, we also lost a good core of our members after we moved to NW. But some stayed true and build up the regiment again. We even raised a Light company in early 2018. The regiment has always stood for 3 things, Discipline, Skill and Fun. We stayed loyal to these 3 things and made sure that they were balanced. Our Regimental Motto: "Bydand" meaning "Steadfast" or "stand your ground" fitted us and our 3 values quite well. Disaster struck us again in mid/late 2018 after we had to disband both the Light and Artillery Company. We pushed through however and on 26 February 2019 we re-raised the Lights under the command of Vegi. We grew once again this time however we kept the attendance and old friends rejoined the regiment, turning it into the perfect place to have fun, learn about history and play games together. Through all the hard times and the good most Gordon Highlanders stayed true and loyal, this was the sole reason for the staff to keep the regiment up and running and turning her into a beast of a unit.                                                           "A" Company
 

Skirmishers. Light infantry and riflemen units. Through the use of rifles and skirmish lines, deliver powerful volleys unto the enemy. Survivability is key component of skirmishers and being able to reload and fire promptly, utilising cover and terrain, is part of the normal routine of a skirmisher's duties.

Mounted Infantry. Cavalry and line infantry units. Cutting down the enemy with fervor through decisive charges or carrying out determined engagements with bayonet and ball, mounted infantry must be especially capable for combat on foot and horse.

 
 
 
 
                                                          "C" Company
 

Artillery. Artillery units. Cannons, howitzers, mortars, and explosive crates are all part of the arsenal of the artillery. Artillerymen must have keen awareness of the battlefield around them, from spotting incoming fire from enemy artillery as well as locating enemy infantry to destroy.

February 2021 The 33rd is as ever, openly Recruiting! We attend five weekly events, four of which we run ourselves, alongside numerous others specifically scheduled each week, with no commitment beyond attending one event a week to stay on our Roster. We maintain three active companies - Line with Lights and Cavalry to support, with 113 members on the strength as of February 2021; This company system allows us to contribute a large presence as one whole regiment in our events, whilst maintaining smaller communities in which individual members can play their part. Since the start of December the regiment has kept busy, hosting our numerous events and with our competitive participation; the melee tournament MRGL ended for us with respectable 8th place, having fought our way through a particularly difficult group and barely missing the knockouts. Having had players step up through our B team though we were able to go toe-to-toe with many competitive regiments with 15 players, a marked change from the summer where such a number would have been difficult for us at this level - so hats off to the competitive team for their hard work! We also rounded off our NW events prior to Christmas nicely, with a one-off Christmas event which Chadman very kindly cast for us (along with one of our Monthly Thursday events, see below). With the New Year we have added to our schedule and kept interest in competitive play high, playing some 25 matches throughout the month (15 A, 3 B, 2 Cav & 5 casual). Our main post will soon be updated with with our 2020 total scores (can also be seen below), alongside our tournament placements for the last quarter of the year. This next month will be spent preparing for EIC and we look forward to bringing our Wednesday event attendees a new Historical event scenario tonight! Here's to a good February all...
