1st Royal Dragoons

ABOUT

The 1st Royal Dragoons where a British cavalry regiment first established in 1661. Staying true to their name the 1stRD fought in almost every major war from the Willamette War to WW2. One of the regiments proudest moments was when it participated in the Union Charge on Napoleons forces during the Battle of Waterloo.

This regiment was created to provide an opportunity for History Buffs, M&B fanatics and "Armchair Generals" to all get-together and have a good time while also enjoying an authentic Napoleonic war experience. As a unit we will be as the name presents playing as mounted infantry, mostly doing skirmishing and providing support where it is needed.
