Arbitrary justification for eating meat. If you're going to eat meat there's no need to justify it. You can admit that you're supporting a system of wholesale slaughter of animals and not have a moral problem with it. Just enjoy the taste. :^)

True, but we don't need meat to survive in western countries and there are many valid ecological, ethical and health related reasons to not eat meat. It isn't that big of a deal at this point though considering the earth is fucked regardless.
