Steam is being "hacked"?

So there's been a bit of a chaos on due to people saying it's being hacked. If you go to your "Account Details", you should see that your email address has changed to "jedi_shadow_ranger@hotmail.com"

This might be just some silly guy pulling a nice prank or a sign from the gods that the world is ending.

Tl;dr steam store got fucked and taken down for now, apparently if you had paypal connected to your account people could potentially have gotten your paypal information.

Calm down. If you have email and phone authentication enabled, like I have, you should be fine.

Should I change my password + email when it goes back up to be safe?

I've also heard it's a hack/ddos/cache issue, anyone know which one for sure?

Ye I have the highest security standards possible for my account but I hate situations like this. And yes, steampowered.com is completly down.
