CTDs in Siege.
« on: July 21, 2015, 05:35:27 pm »
It happens that my game fails to read some weird file called FortBoydNW.txt or something, and then it crashes to desktop. This happens on siege maps only. Help would be heavily apreciated.

There's no such file as fortboydnw.txt, if you can get a screenshot or type out the full error message then that would help a little more.

Hmm that's an interesting error, looks like your common res downloaded maps file one of them got corrupted it seems.

Hello.. I have a problem... It says I don't have Mount&Blade Warband: Napoleonic War and I have to buy it
Try joining a regular Napoleonic Wars server and then re-running the installer.

Yeah, that's a very strange error considering all the scene files are in .sco format with not a single .txt in that folder. Try reinstalling the mod/installing to a different folder and copying the SceneObj folder over from the fresh version.

There are txt. scene files in the warband folder in your documents. This is where scenes are being "downloaded" to. These specific scene txt. files contain the maps terrain info.

In this case I would advice deleting the file at that the exact dir. that is being displayed in the error. (c:\Erik\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\SceneOBJ) As it has probably been corrupted because one or another way. Then play again and see if it worked.

Just my first thought.
