How Do I Create A Custom Flag?

I want to make a flag for Multiplayer but I don't know how. This can go for Napoleonic Wars and the North and South mod.

In NW texture folder or N&S texture folder you should find the flag textures. You can edit them.

flags or banners? banners are found in the dds file called banners_a or b depending on which you want. Flags are under colours(number) exp Colours1 1,2,3 etc.

Yah I need to work on making a custom banner myself. Haven't found the time or the courage to do it yet.

might want to try a flag texture... and place the colour as another layer on that
