2. Garde-Regiment zu Fuss

History of the Real Regiment:
During 1813, Friedrich Wilhelm III ordered the creation of multiple Guard Regiments. One of these regiments was the 2. Garde-Regiment Zu Fuss. The Regiment was created from the 8th and 9th Infantry Regiments and these two Regiments formed the core of the unit. This regiment participated in many battles including the Battle of Leipzig (10/16-19/1813) and the Battle of Paris (3/30-31/1814), which resulted in Napoleon’s First Exile to Elba.  The 2. Garde-Regiment Zu Fuss would stay active within the Kingdom of Prussia and eventually the German Empire fighting for the Fatherland until the end of the Great War when it was disbanded permanently.

About Us:
This Regiment was formed in a similar fashion to that of its Historical counterpart, forming from members of two veteran Prussian Regiments. The goal of this regiment is to give a fair chance for any member, new or old, and a fresh start. We also strive to build a strong community and become a strategic mastermind of tactical genius with equality, and good representation.
