I'd rather assume he's telling the truth and give him a few bucks than deny him that simply because of what he might do.

Why vote in a middle man to "help the poor" when Nipple literally helped a homeless man directly

Shoulda waved the money in front of the dude and said, "I'm gonna buy a Bernie t-shirt because I support people like you! Have a good day, sir!"

Anyway, I'm not acting as if I actually did anything meaningful by giving money to that guy. It sure is better than buying stickers and shit just to show off your political stance, though.

You're right though, well half right. Again, we all agree that the system is fucked and needs to change but giving a homeless man some cash does not solve anything, casting a single vote for bernie sanders does not solve anything. It is our actions however that do, our as in SOCIETY. If society decides to dedicate itself to helping the homeless then we solve the homeless problem, if we as a society elect bernie sanders then we pass policy which will impact millions of Americans for the better. It may not be perfect, it won't, there will still be obstacles that we as a society must overcome after Sanders, if he even gets elected.

My hope however is that Sanders is the BEGINNING of something bigger than him, something truly unique, a genuine political revolution and revitalization that MAY bring the change that you guys hope for. You won't get it now, that's for sure, you won't get it if he isn't elected, that's for sure. You can disagree with bernie all you want but it's his ideas that i care about and the ideas that come after that make him truly unique.

The system is fucked, but we can use the system to fix the system!!1!

"Political revolution" doesn't come from above, true change doesn't come from above.

I don't disagree with Sanders when he talks about taking on the billionaire class but you can't do this from a system and society that's owned by that very class

Action needs to be taken outside, against the system.
But whatever, this career politician will make the boo-boo better I'm sure.

Okay, that's where disagree but that's fine. You have to at least recognize the fact that there is a growing leftist movement in not just the US but around the world. Sanders' campaign is where the american side of it really begins. You may say that we will never get "true" change with him because he is just a part of the system. I would argue that we would never get "true" change without him. Think about it, if he loses then the leftist movement in the US will have to wait 4-8 more fucking years before it would start again and we may not have that chance.

If we don't take action NOW and move the country to the left then all of the things that you want will never happen. Accept the reality of the situation my friend. I don't disagree with you but in a country so controlled by the right-wing idiots and the rich, you will never get your "true" revolution without working within the system to some extent. Again i'm not saying that Sanders is the change, but more the start of it.

Not sure what countries you are referring to when you say that the "leftist movement" is growing around the world.

I think you're missing the point

If the leftist movement was to "get elected" into office than it is forced to play by captalism's rules

Radical leftism in America is something I wrote my APUSH paper on and I can tell you the far left movement hasn't needed to be in the mainstream political system to be effective. Most action taken by leftists in America were strikes, unionizing, fighting and sometimes open fighting against the army. The biggest fear of the US government was the far left movement until the '90s. So much so, the government would oppress its own citizens to sabatoge the movements.

To say that Bernie Sanders is the spear head of socialism in America is just wrong

To say that leftism's only hope is to bend the knee to the will of parliamentary capital is ignoring the work of millions of radicals, workers, writers, and performers.
