By any chance, has anyone seen "Field of Lost Shoes?" It's an ACW movie about the VMI cadets I believe. If anyone has, thoughts on it?

I saw it. Tbh, I thought it was pretty terrible. When they were at the battle of New Market, a cannon ball hit smack in the middle of the VMI cadets line. The middle of the line fell down where the cannon ball hit, then they stood back up like it was nothing....

I saw a portion of the battle on YouTube, when the cannon ball hit, almost everyone in the middle fell. Don't know for sure if that would have happened IRL...

I saw it, it was pretty good movie.I find it it was a good movie and it was realistic too I liked it. After the movie I'm wanting to go to the VMI lol

Yeap,honestly I think the best American Civil War movie is the "Gods and Generals" trilogy.
