History of Hussars
The hussar-mania contaminated France after sweeping over Europe. The dash of attire and behaviour of Hungarian hussars displayed on the battlefields in the service of Austria certainly made the best impression, and in due time the French army started changing her cavalry regiments into hussars, in dress and in title.
Hussars' overbearing arrogance, their military pride, the fastidiously sensitive brutality of their honor, had an intensity hard to realize today. The hussars considered themselves as better horsemen and swordsmen than everybody else. They liked to sing songs that insulted dragoons and considered themselves distinctly more dashing than chasseurs.
In combat the hussars rode yelling most unearthly, cursing and brandishing their weapons. They had their own code - that of reckless curage that bordered on a death wish. The hussars were the eyes, ears and … egos of the army.
With their look suitably piratical their hair plaited and queued they were one heck of mean buggers. Some regiments were composed of fellows who had a natural longing for a fight.
The mutually supporting camaraderie of the hussars was important factor of their esprit de corps. Tactically they were used as scouts and screen for other troops and due to their combativeness were also used in pitched battles. It was not a rare sight to see a hussar in a forefront of a hack-and-slash melee, gripping his reins with his teeth, a pistol in one hand and saber in the other.

Hello! We're an EU regiment that are going to start playing "Blood and Iron" we will be actively taking part in line battles at least once a week. Much of the officer corps within the regiment has previous experience in cavalry regiments and are looking forward to riding into battle once more, alongside some new companions!

Regiment Rules

1. All rankers must be shaved before linebattles, unless you are a sergeant or a veteran.
2. Officers must be called "Sir". This is only during events so after you can go back to calling us what ever you like after the battle!
3 . No rockets, unless told otherwise by a senior officer, who will then be shot.
4. Sergeants should form the men into a line before ceremonies. Only senior officers do not have to join the line (anyone above the rank of Major).
5. Striking a superior officer will result in death. By Toygar. Or Logan.
7. Failure to obey these rules will result in demotion or kick.
We're looking for players who are willing to learn! If you are not experienced in cavalry or Blood and Iron do not worry, we have experienced players willing to help!
