The YouTube comment feature become a hindrance when the website went global. Best thing to do is make it optional in preferences.

I've seen nothing but off topic rubbish in YouTube comments for the last few years.

Now with no limit on characters i've seen many pictures of dicks.
And now people can also put links in the video. Perfect way for bots to advertise their favourite virus
