i love what your doing and dont be disheartened because i was one of the ones who LOVED iron europe when it came out - yes it had bugs but it gave a totally different feel to warband

only thing i didnt like was being forced to stand still when u play gramaphone

BUT my question is

where is your audience going to come from.

Put it this way if napoleonic wars 2   BCOF came out today, and it was promoted only on this forum,  it would be a disaster

the vast audience who would have been interested in your mod, left and barely gave it a chance 5 or 6 years ago.

most of the people on this forum nowadays are just here to check progress on BCOF

i say this with lots of love


i was one of the creaters of the red blue spanish mod
we spent every evening for about 3 months on it
(not as long as you spent on iron europe but still)
and literally apart from a spanish clan barely anyone played or plays it


so i do know what its like to put a lot of effort for free into something
......

I ask because if I cast an event, I dont want Content ID claims on Youtube because of musicians.

yes it is minimum 8 seconds but it just means i need to plan my targets and time it right

how you going to promote this
you going on steam?
its just i doubt taleworlds will announce this stand alone game
will you just announce it on the napoleonic wars steam or is it going on steam
i want this game to succeed but if its just released and nobody but the people on this forum know, it wont get more than 100 players as not many peeps visit these forums anymore

ehhh... You can modify your face and even choose different voices for your character.

you cant, ive spoken to people who play the closed beta
they are default loadouts, default equipment for multiplayer

there is absolutly no uniqueness it is all generic

My comment is more based on what I've seen from the combat system/multi-player. I'm sure single-player will be great and very enjoyable but the multi-player aspect looks very questionable.

VERY QUESTIONABLE

Talking to people who've played it they all said they didn't like it.

why didn't they like it?

I really hope they make these loadout presets just a server option, i don't get why you would take away customisation especially in that area

sadly its not a serverside option,
there isnt such a thing as a UI which changes wether you have a custom face or default face depending on what server


sadly theyve gone the mordhau / chivalry/ war of rights/ holdfast route - youve got a default boring face and thats it

it sucks, one of the main draws of warband/ nw was being able to make the most ridiculous looking faces, it gave it that uniqueness

taleworlds devs are the laziest pieces of shit ever

is this all they could come up with after the best part of a decade

you cant even customise your fucking face in this game
7 years plus of work for what is exactly the same

also --- they STILL have one same sound and death voice, for all deaths, no variation no varying voices its all one voice.

its like this is 2008 again
