I don't understand why there is no three week period for group stages for every regiment to play their three matches in those three weeks. Then knockout stages can commence each week

Then the league would take too long. People like me would start working and shit when it would be just mid season. If we give each group a week and everything goes right. Each group is done in a month maybe a little longer.
