Spain makes the most sense, One of the larger Nations which fought as a part of Napoleons Coalition. The other nations such as Ottomans and the USA would be interesting purely for uniform variety. But a serious choice would be Spain especially for Peninsular Battles

It's actually not doing that bad, getting a website together. Sorting out a regiment paypal account to pay for a server most likely from you haha. Already have 20 guys in the steam group. Thanks for asking though

The Nr.26 aim to represent a highly-skilled Austrian Infantry regiment from the Napoleonic era. We are an EU based Regiment, with daily events and Linebattles. We try to promote discipline however we understand that it may not always equate to fun which is why we operate "Regiment discipline with a human face" offering an all round experience. Understand this is not a green light for trolling and any such occurrences will be dealt with accordingly. we value commitment, not just towards the Regiment, but to yourself that is why we understand not everybody can attend every event which will be explained with you during your recruitment interview. It is important to be committed towards getting better and more skilled at the game, and those who do strive to do so as an individual can expect just rewards. If you not only want to play people who want to be the best but aspire to be one of the best, then you are joining people with the same frame of mind and will be welcomed with open arms.
The Nr.26 Infanterie Regiment has a blurred history at best, We know however the regiment is recruited from South German men, mainly from the surrounding area of Vienna. In some cases volunteers from the territory of Walloon and the former Austrian Netherlands. The regiment is named to commemorate Wilhelm, Prinz von Oranien-Nassau (1772-1843) who was crowned King of the Netherlands on 16 March 1815. His son, the future King Wilhelm II, was a corps commander in the Duke of Wellington’s Anglo-Allied army during the Waterloo Campaign.
The Napoleonic Wars dominated Austrian foreign policy from 1804 to 1815. After Prussia signed a peace treaty with France on 5 April 1795, Austria was forced to carry the main burden of war with Napoleonic France for almost ten years. This severely overburdened the Austrian economy, making the war greatly unpopular. Emperor Francis II therefore refused to join any further war against Napoleon for a long time. On the other hand, Francis II continued to intrigue for the possibility of revenge against France, entering into a secret military agreement with the Russian Empire in November 1804. This convention was to assure mutual cooperation in the case of a new war against France.
Austrian unwillingness to join the Third Coalition was overcome by British subsidies, but the Austrians withdrew from the war yet again after a decisive defeat at the Battle of Austerlitz. Although the Austrian budget suffered from wartime expenditures and its international position was significantly undermined, the humiliating Treaty of Pressburg provided plenty of time to strengthen the army and economy. Moreover, the ambitious Archduke Charles and Johann Philipp von Stadion never abandoned the goal of further war with France.
