Histoire du Régiment

Le 65ème Régiment d'infanterie de Ligne a été crée en 1782 et subit de nombreux changements. C'est un régiment de l'Armée de Terre dont la devise est
: "N'a peur de rien et comme Cambronne il le dit bien". Ce régiment participa à de nombreuses batailles notamment sous le règne de Napoléon Ier , Empereur
des Français. Puis il seras dissous pour enfin après les Trois Glorieuses et la chute de la seconde restauration de la monarchie être recrée. Le Commandant du
régiment est actuellement "William Bonaparte", ancien officier de nombreux régiments, ainsi que son second Marcel. Le régiment se distinguait surtout pendant
le Premier Empire pour sa férocité et comme le dit William Bonaparte, "Ne jamais dire en Avant mais toujours Suivez-moi !". Le courage et la bravoure de ce régiment
se montre par la discipline mais aussi les faits patriotique d'un régiment s'engagent pour la Nation et la Patrie Française dans tout ses combats ! Ce régiment est
engagé sous le Second Empire et combat fidèlement pour Napoléon III et l'impératrice Eugénie. Il combattras même dans la guerre franco-prusienne de 1870 et
bien plus encore.
