Servers / Stickied list of Official Server Admins

An idea here; it would be nice if the supervising admins of the official servers could keep a list of all current admins with their contact info so it is easier to find an available admin.

I was just on NA 1 tonight and there was two guys teamkilling/wounding and I couldn't find an online admin that I knew, so this idea popped into my mind. I'll attach a poll and if people want it, it would be nice for the head admins to provide.

About

The 21ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne is a North American infantry-based regiment. We pride ourselves in our battle skill where we use quick paced maneuvers and line formations to bring hell down upon our foes. We recognize ourselves as a mature regiment, able to get serious when we need to be, yet having fun all the same. We won't permit trolling inside or outside our linebattles/teamspeak. Trolling is strictly prohibited and will be met with appropriate discipline. Trainings are important. It teaches members formations and drills that will be executed on the field of battle, crucial to our quick deployment and most importantly the casualties we impose on the enemy. We look to build a solid community of friendship in our regiment, making our experience in NW even more enjoyable.

The 21ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne is one of the oldest regiments in the world. It was raised in 1598 by Henri de Vaubecourt. Moving ahead to the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, the regiment seen action at several decisive battles. The 21e would come to distinguish itself in conflicts such as Veronnia, Maggano, Trebbia, Austerlitz, Auerstadt, Jena, Eylau, and Wargram. In 1806 Davout's Corps found itself facing the main Prussian army under the Duke of Brunswick at Auerstadt, whilst Napoleon was defeating what he believed to be the main army at Jena. The 21e defended the village of Hassenhausen in the centre of the French line. Corporal Boutloup of the Voltigeur company, along with six men, took a Prussian gun and caisson and turned it on the Prussians. These men, having killed the gun crew, manned the cannon for over half an hour until ammunition was exhausted. Losses were heavy but the three divisions of the 3eme Corp became famous through the Armee as "Les Trois Immortelles". A great reputation to have, the 21e held it throughout the whole of the Napoleonic Wars.

État-Major
These men are the most respected in the regiment. They are your command staff that lead at the battalion level. All decisions these men make are final and are to observed without question. They organize the events and trainings and are responsible for overseeing that the regiment works together well and everyone is doing their job. They help resolve any conflicts that may arise and make sure that the regiment has everything it needs.

• Colonel - Full command of the regiment, has the last say in all matters.
• Major - Second in command of the regiment, assists the Colonel in making decisions and fills in on his absence.
• Chef de Bataillon - Battalion commander, a part of regiment administration.

Officiers and Sous-Officiers
Regimental officers and NCOs are what hold the regimental discipline together. They enforce our code of conduct within the regiment and most importantly lead our members valiantly into battle. To become one of these men, you must be a highly disciplined member. Dedication and activity will get you here. Coming to linebattles, assisting with recruitment and training are ideal traits in officers and NCOs.

• Capitaine - In charge at the company level, has the final say over the company.
• Lieutenant - Company officer, assists the Captain in all duties along with filling his absences. Should be a very capable man.
• Sous Lieutenant - Another company officer, part of the chain of command.
• Adjudant - Officer in training; also acting Aide de Camp.
• Sergent Major- Head NCO, regiment wide. Responsible for enforcing our standards in every member.
• Sergent - Regimental NCO, assists the Sergent Major in seeing that discipline is enforced.

Hommes de Troupe
The Hommes de Troupe is what makes up the important part of the regiment. These men are highly trained, fully capable soldiers who make up the regiment. These men should be highly active and dedicated to the regiment. Dedication is defined as attending events regularly, playing nicely with others in public servers, assisting in the recruitment process. Every member should strive to be better and better. Upon first joining the regiment you will start as a cadet. After proving yourself active and ready to become an official member, you will be promoted. Promotions are given based on performance and dedication, so you should constantly be improving your game!

• Caporal Fourrier de Premiére - Senior-most enlisted man, advanced in battle skill and very dedicated.
• Caporal Fourrier - Senior enlisted man, proficient in most aspects of battle and formations.
• Grenadier - This man has proven his skill as a soldier, showing tough and enduring battle skill.
• Soldat Deuxième - Core of the regiment, these men have proven their activity and shown they are dedicated.
• Cadet - Entry-level rank. Is promoted based on activity and dedication upon joining the regiment.

The 12ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne is a French infantry regiment made for Napoleonic Wars. We're looking for players who have a desire to play the game for fun, while at the same time observing a reverence for discipline and self-control. The 12e is a regiment focused on the skilled use of a bayonet to counter our opponents on the battlefield in addition to quick maneuvers in formation to aid in gaining the upper hand over the enemy team, which explains the need for discipline within the regiment.

The 2ème Régiment de Cuirassiers is an active North American cavalry regiment, representing the French Cuirassiers if you couldn't tell. We aim to be one of the fiercest cavalry regiments on the field of battle, acting as a driving pressure on our enemies. Using surprise attacks to quickly exterminate enemy units and clear a path for allied lines. We strike hard and fast, having fun all along the way. Upmost discipline is expected at events. Our members are expected to hold a high level of self control; no trolling is permitted. We are a small elite group, looking for more interested players.

The Hommes de Troupe is what makes up the important part of the regiment. These men are highly trained, full capable cavalrymen who make up the regiment. These men should be highly disciplined (as stated above) and dedicated to the regiment. Dedication is defined as attending events regularly, playing nicely with others in public servers, assisting in the recruitment process. Every member should strive to be better and better. • Brigadier-Fourrier - This rank is meant as a transition from ranker to staff. People with leading potential are given this rank to be further mentored by the Capitaine.
• Brigadier - This man knows how to handle himself in combat along with being prudent in his activity and dedication.
• Cavalier - Core of the regiment, these men have proven their activity and shown they are dedicated.

Events: EU / Cop's Monday Linebattle [NA] (Accepting applications!) [CANCELLED]

Cop's Monday North American Linebattle

About

Everyone knows what a linebattle is. We line up and pew pew. This linebattle will take place every Monday @ 8pm EST. After application to the event (and acceptance), regiment leaders will be invited to the steam group which will, every Monday at 7:30pm EST, request a representative from each member regiment to attend the pre-battle meeting on the community teamspeak in the Cop's Events channel (ts.22nd.eu).

At this prebattle meeting, the roles of the evening will be decided and server information will be distributed.

Rules
 - Do not rambo
 - Do not delay rounds
 - Do not teamwound
 - Basically, don't piss off the admins or other players

Roles

Line Infantry (6 minimum)
 - If troop count drops below 3 men, finish charge or retreat to a friendly line
 - Must fire in formation
 - May not fire on the charge
 - May use half-man spacing

Light Infantry (6 min/ 14 max)
 - If soldier count drops below 3 men, finish charge or retreat to a friendly line
 - Must fire in formation (1-2 man spacing)
 - May not fire on the charge
 - May crouch

Riflemen (6 min /12 max)
- If troop count falls below 3, must join friendly unit
- Must fire while in skirmish order (3-4 man spacing)
- May crouch

Cavalry (8 min/ 14 max)
 - If playing as dragoons, must form up in static line, then fire
 - May not leap frog charge (i.e. concentrate the charge)
 - No 'cav jumping' (i.e. jumping over blobbed infantry's heads)
 - One cavalry class per map
 - If troop is reduced to 2 men, may follow and assist friendly units on horseback (must remain with friendlies)

Artillery (4 min/ 8 max)
 - May choose combination of gun type
 - May have guards, may have a sapper (meaning one only)

After attending at least one event, a regiment may play as special units (listed above). In order to get these special units you must fill out the application below. The roles are reset on a weekly basis so if you want to play a special role each week, you have to be the first to sign up.

About Us
Welcome to our forum page. The 40th is a North American regiment focused on dominating the battlefield. From melee to shooting, we are a driving power on the battlefield, doing our best to work with the team to ensure our swift victory. We use simplistic formations, most commonly in single rank. Together with that and experienced officers, we can manage to strike fear through our enemies. We also encourage activity and comradery, and expect all members to follow the Code of Conduct, set below.

About Us
The 88th Regiment of Foot is founded on the principles of discipline and comradery. We use advanced battle formations and maneuvers to help us bring about a deadly presence on the battlefield. From devastating volleys to melee slaughter, we mean to strike fear into enemy soldiers. Founded in January of 2012, we've set out to make a home for a group of friends who love playing NW and anyone else who wants to join. We encourage activity and respect, but above all, fun!

We're modeling the 88th after it's 1st Battallion - Centre Company. In the future we will establish more companies, with more diversity and opportunity for anyone and everyone. Our members are expected to abide by a code of conduct set by the founding members, listed below.

General Discussion / Official Servers

How often are official servers reset if they are reset at all?

I was in US 1 last night and there were 150 people in there. I haven't seen those numbers for awhile in US 1.

My ping was fine, I held a stable 27 but the lag reminded me of a Siege event. I figure that a reset would have helped which led me to the above question.

If anyone has any info on it please let me know. My apologies if I missed a thread somewhere stating it.

Suggestions & Bug Reports / Dying Animations from MM

I was watching some old MM videos and I couldn't help but wish that the dying animations from there could be applied into Napoleonic Wars?

Say when you get shot: In MM you would take the bullet in the gut, and fall forward slowly, in stead of NW-style where you just kind of fall over. I do however like the NW-style headshot where it literally propels  your body backward in surprise.

I want the community's opinion as well as the Dev's opinion and if it would ever work. It'd be nice to see it as a part of the next / final patch for NW.
