The 14th "Buckinghamshire" is a North American regiment and currently being reformed by the last remaining officer, Ramelon. The legacy of the 14th dates back quite a bit before the first NANWL and was originally founded by Wardop. It was a small regiment for the majority of its time however this created a very close community of folks who played games of all sorts which everyone had fun with. Then after a while the first NANWL was announced and the 14th signed up for it. At first we didn't think much of it due to our skill compared to those of that time, like the 12th "East Suffolk" for instance(Never faced in the league sadly). We quite quickly, with the help of Deg the LtCol and second in command got straight away into improving our skills in both melee combat and being fluid in the line. We trained very hard, as we weren't seasoned from previous ventures. We were just a normal regiment for the most part filled with no names. Some old players like myself who didn't care to be noticed but had played since Mount and Musket, some who were just new to the game at that time altogether. Our determinations however led us to win the first NANWL, without a single defeat. Now it is to be kept in mind, that the 14th and the 1aSvea are the same regiment. We went through a name change because, well why not? Proof of this can be found in Youtube videos of our NANWL matches, as well as inquiring to the three leaders, myself, Deg, or Wardop. In my mind, we were the proof that any team can succeed if you put in the hard work. We may not have faced the big leagues like I personally had wanted, but we achieved nonetheless and with very little to start.

Now, after some thought and careful deliberation I have decided to revive this relic by its original name and succeed once more.

2nd Battalion of Royal Marines[Reformed]

Hello and welcome to the 2nd Battalion of Royal Marines! I am Lieutenant Colonel Ramelon, and I will be explaining to you today, why you should join the 2nd Battalion, and fight for the crown on the high seas or land.

Our History

A good while ago, I made this regiment, about a year and half maybe, with a group of friends whom had served with me in the 14th Buckinghamshire(Also known as the 1a Svea Livgarde)
It went well for the first bits. Had a small number of guys, but we were reliable. Then an offer came up for a new teamspeak and a possible merger where I'd still keep everything of what I had originally built.I took the offer and everything actually went well. Had sizeable numbers, almost always growing every day. Did well in events and was getting off to a good start. However, I was drained. I've been around for a long time, mostly as a ranker to an early NCO for other regiments in the EU community and then some in NA, aside from being a Major for a while. I was tired, I was getting sick of the game honestly. So as much as I did regret, I disbanded. However, after taking a nice break and one other failed regiment attempt, I have returned. After lending the good name of the 2nd to a friend, he eventually resigned, and since I was still the owner(On Forum), I decided to get back on the saddle, and give it another go. This time, I'm not leaving unless my regiment dies in numbers, or if I die, or suddenly get a life.

Why should you enlist? As well as our General Information

We are a disciplined regiment in the field. We want to do our best, we want to win. If we lose, we will learn from it and rise above our previous limitations. I will drill you, I will teach what I know. I will put down my sword and pick up a musket and show you what I know so you'll do better. We know that sacrifices must be made. A philosophy of mine, is, in your typical line battle event, is to hold the line and do as much as you can, so that the rest of the team can consolidate and push back and win the battle. That doesn't mean we'll always die, I know when to fall back, but I also know what is important. I reward you based on many factors. Your character, your loyalty, and your skills as well. Simply put, be a good a soldier and you'll be rewarded. Off the field however, I love having fun. I like to make jokes, you know, being a human being. I wouldn't dare restrict you having fun in my community, that's what it's all about in the end. Having fun.
