This concerns me... in the linebattles I have done it just ends up being an excuse to have 5 map spacing.

I would rather not have fire on the charge. It makes superior tactics null as all you have to do is charge and you still get to fire all your shots. (I'm probably not making any sense, but I'd say no to foc)The maps do not matter since there will be a spawn switch after 5 rounds making things equal for both sides. However, I agree. The maps should be relatively flat in order to avoid too much camping.
If we want to eliminate hillcamping, we need a designated set of maps that are balanced (maybe even symmetrical), which would only contain hills and buildings in key strategic points

I like how 60% of the ''big'' and ''good'' regiments are not going while the ''small'' regiments are going. I think its because they say they are to ''busy'' or dismiss the entire notion of a league of friendly competitive 1v1s...

The sign-ups are open from now until the tournament starts, October 27th, 2013. The sign-ups are based on first come first served, meaning those who sign up early will get into the higher league..

Again I suggest balanced custom maps or fire in charge enabled... and referees that would be a good idea but they cant be biased and would have to be neutral in the community

You could try getting some EU guys as refs, as they should be pretty unbiased I would imagine. Only potential issue would be the timing. Just my 2 cents.True, but a referee can not be too biased in this game without making it evident.

Yeah it seems to be running smoothly so far, got a great group of regiments trying it out this first season, and I haven't had any problems so far!
Hopefully things will stay that way and maybe we'll get a larger entry for the next time around and we can split it into two league tables!

Just a couple more weeks to go in the league.We've stuck it out tico! Also 14th and 22e have decided to delay our 1v1 for the league 'till after new years, if that's fine with you.
I'd like to really thank those regiments that decided to sign up and whom have stuck it through for the entire event. I hope you all enjoyed the experience and maybe other regiments will see the first successful season and for the second time around we will have many more sign up. Maybe most of them won't drop out either!
Can we at least make some attempt to get this back on its' feet please? Like at least figure out what week we're on and get going again, or just call this where it's at and start a second season.Seems it died down. I will discuss it with Tico but in my opinion we should start a new season. Too many drop-outs this one, which makes it difficult to judge who the real winner is seeing as the regiments that drop out might have beaten other regiments and then all the rest of their matches are counted as wins for the oponents. Distorts the scoreboard. But we shall see.

Its a 1 vs. 1. You get multiple lines during events and get this 2 vs. 2(s).
Uh actually I do mean two lines.Well damn, screw me. In that case I would say no. Not that I would mind it but my guess is most regiments are lucky if they get a 15+ attendance. Having two lines would make for tiny lines and that is no fun. And not allowing smaller regiments is not what this tournament is about. We want to bring the community together and not make this an exclusive event.

Could you only accept regiments that won't drop out... It's kind of annoying when half the league can't hack it and drops out :(We can add a question in the applications where the regiments have to attend their dedication, but other than appeal to their honor there is not much we can do if someone decides to drop out, except exclude them from the next event.
