Cooldown for specs depends on the mood we used~mainly if the mood isn't like NW cooldown from the previous week we played, NW carries over to next week


Napoleonic Wars Siege Rules

General Rules

Team killing is not allowed.
No spamming chat.
Specs are first come first serve, regs can't apply for the same spec 2 weeks in a row.
Bans may be given to entire regiments if warnings are not needed.
Message admins by Steam or TeamSpeak to complain about rule enforcement.
Attackers must move out in lines of 3 or more when leaving the attacker spawn. If any in the group are killed while advancing, they may continue.
Line Of 3 Will be decided upon the admin depending on the map being used (some map use The Rule Line of 3 as others don't)
FOC/ROC/FOL/ROL are allowed for all classes.
1 sapper is allowed per regiment. (No TNT, Plank Spam, or wasteful BP usage)
100 build points shared between them. This may be changed during the event.
No musketoons.
Auxiliary units are encouraged but don’t spam them.
Defenders must stay inside of Fort. If the fort has an exterior extension, admins will decide what parts are considered the inside of the fort.


Class Rules

No mounted cavalry. Dragoons may be used, but must dismount and kill their horses when spawn.
Maximum of 12 Skirmishers. May be reduced by admin at admin discretion.
If any regiment goes over the specialty limit, members of the regiment will be slayed at random to bring them within the limit.
No rocket artillery.
Artillery may not spawn more guns on the field than already in place. If the map does not already have placed artillery guns, admins will set the limit.

No Rambos
During linebattle rounds, all units may use up to 3 man spacing.


Class Rules

Four specialty signups per event: 4 Archer regiments and 2 Cavalry regiments.
Only the assigned specialty regiments may bring in troops as archers or cavalry. Everyone else must take infantry, but may take any weapon they wish.
All specialty regiments are capped at 10. This number may change at the admin discretion.
If any regiment goes over the specialty limit, members of the regiment will be slayed at random to bring them within the limit.
Defender cavalry may stay mounted at all times.
Attacker cavalry must dismount at spawn until the defender's gates are open. Once the gates are open, attacking cav may remount and stay mounted.
During linebattle rounds, when a cavalry regiment has less than 3 mounted, they must join with an infantry regiment but may remain mounted.

Due to NW servers being overloaded with players the past week, we will be hosting with 2 servers this Sunday. As such, 4 artillery and 4 skirmisher spots will be available to apply for at 6 PM EST on Sunday, 2 hours before the event.

Last week we implemented a new rule: Specialty signups are first posted, first served but regiments cannot play as the same specialty two events in a row. That rule is still in effect. However, if we have too few signups for either specialty, regiments that had the same specialty last week may be chosen after all.

The Siege next week is going to be held on Native. The rules for Native will be as follows:

Specialty signups will begin at the same time as usual, 6 PM EST on the same day as the siege. Specialty signups for the Native siege will not affect specialty signups for Napoleonic Wars the following week. Napoleonic Wars specialty signups will carry over to the next NW siege, meaning that 1stBS and 65y won't be able to take artillery at the next NW siege on May 17th, and the 1stRWY and 1KL won't be table to take skirmishers on the 17th either. Archers and cavalry will be assigned by first post, first served.

Conquest is tonight in 3 hours. Specialty signups are in 1 hour. Most important points for the event tonight:

Fire in charge is allowed for everyone. FOL and ROL are only allowed when near a flag.

Artillery may not spawn extra guns. If there are no pre-placed guns, artillery may spawn 2.

Cavalry is allowed a maximum of 12 troops. To capture a flag, they must either dismount when they are alone or remain mounted while assisting friendly infantry. Cavalry cannot capture flags on their own while mounted.

If less than 3 cavalry are mounted, they must either continue their charge, dismount and join a line, or return to a friendly flag to regroup with their respawned troops. Cavalry must remain 1 unit at all times, so when troops respawn, they must wait at a friendly flag to regroup and rejoin the fight.

Cavalry is allowed to fire in charge as well. They must be within 3 horse spacing while doing so.

Skirmishers are not allowed to exist.

Deluge is fun but field battles and rules closer to the standard ones on Deluge should be considered plus you can pause the spawns so everyone can get ready and it alleviates some of the headache from not being able to spawn people in

SO Since it will be a new year Those that were arty, Skirms today 12/20 can be so again next year We are basically wiping the slat clean so gonna be resusing maps we used recently etc etc so thanks for attending and

Uhh i actually agree with nickyJ thing on his event so even i’m gonna push back my event another week...cause i just want to enjoy my holiday for a bit more sorry ALSO on the 6th will be out one year anniversary of rotating sunday event toke place ;3 and I honestly hope you all had fun and hope things wete to your liking

Anyways i am honestly going to be retiring here after today event since it will be basically the one year anniversary since my event toke place and in which case stop hosting and will be passing on the leads to Seanamus  (sorry of i botched your name) hopefully under him it’ll be just as fun when i was around..but due to real life issues and stuff and honestly not wanting to be an absent host i’v decided to call it here. It honestly been somewhat fun meeting new people and such..but i’m glad to be leaving cause then i don’t have to deal with assholes anymore like 65y Ryan ~ yes calling you out~ who constantly harassed me..i have some of the post saved to if people interested to see how much of a dumbass he is. The 1kl i enjoy you all coming and all but ya’ll are fucking trolls..when it came to flag spamming..and so forth i feel like i had to deal woth you all alot during the early stages of the eve t..then having to deal with other troll regs like the 24th who int tk people.BUT Lir/21st/1stBS and all the other regs that attended or started to attend ..this amazing event (atleast i hope it wad amazing) thanks for being there :P and helping out and keeping this running and enjoyable with rotating mods and such just so we don’t get stuck doing the same thing over and over...and finding new maps and just improving the event in general. so you all can have fun time...sorry if i was a shit admin or clueless


But anyways i hope that Ya’ll had fun while this event was around and that you all don’t give to much shit to the new siege host
