This community would definitly be better without a forum. All the game would need is in game servers up and no forum to cause these fucking drama. Honestly we don't need to hear people bitch , cry and whine about the game. If you do , you should just turn off your computer and quit your room, and never comeback to the game, simply.

The vast majority of people have under 100 games on steam. I think it's safe to say that most people only spend like $500 or so on games over a period of several years. Of course, many people in this community will have much higher than that average but whatever.

For PC gaming it secures the vast majority of game sales revenue. Probably something like 80%.

Lord Gaben has shown us the way. Plus most games you buy outside require a steam account.

I didn't realize steam was the only only place to buy games.

For PC gaming it secures the vast majority of game sales revenue. Probably something like 80%.

...and the fact that the vast majority of regiments in whatever this monstrosity of a community we have left actually require you to join a Steam Group and add the COs on Steam. It's the dominant platform used for communicating between players, with websites and shit probably coming second or something.

Oh, and speaking about underlying assumptions here:

I never realised that gamers necessarily spent more than $3000 dollars on their games. But then of course gamers are shady creatures living in their mother's basement who have wasted all of their pocket money on videogames in the last ten years since they left school. So they must have spent inexplicably large amounts of money on their addiction, right?
