What is your favorite universe?

What is your favorite game/book/movie/other universe and why?

Personally I would say that mine might be the  Resistance universe, as it combines alien and sci-fi elements with World War 2/ 1950's  technology and culture. It's also incredibly dark, and at the end is partially post apocalyptic as well.

I'd agree, it's one of the best. The Wild West feeling of space, combined with the Eastern Asian aspects of the culture is really awesome. It's kinda like a gritty dirty sci-fi.

The Witcher, The Elder Scrolls (before they raped the lore with Elder Scrolls Online), Middle Earth, Star Wars Expanded Universe.

I definitely seem to have a weakness for the fantasy genre.
