Unit name: 4th King's Own Royal Regiment (Lancaster)

Regimental History: At the Battle of Bladensburg, referred to as the "the greatest disgrace ever dealt to American arms." and "the most humiliating episode in American history." The 4th King's Own successfully broke and destroyed the US Marine Corps lines along with the valiant 44th Essex and shot US Marine Corps Commodore Joshua Barney in the thigh so he couldn't cowardly run away. Then they burnt Washington to the ground later that night. After all that they later saw glory at the Battle of Waterloo.

Your Regimental History description was unnecessary, I think that is why his response was so... harsh.
I'm surprised you didn't expect anything less because what you said was insulting to both the Corps, something JDF obviously loves, and the history of the US, regardless of it being a war we did not win.
