OMIGAWD THANK YOU SO MUCH I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS VERSION EVERYWHERE!! *Ahem*, sorry. I really like that song.
I like synthesized music as long as it flows well, is not too repetitive, and is truly unique. I think if it's just a boring beat with some a whole lot of bass and treble, with samples and weird vocalization over it, it shouldn't be successful (ie. Skrillex).
I do however appreciate the computer-made music, not computer-generated music, that actually has a lot of effort into it. I was raised to like classic stuff; from classical to blues, country to rock, bluegrass to jazz... and I was raised with the strong opinion that music made without creativity, passion, and years and years of effort put into the art, isn't worth calling music. And this is coming from a musician, fellas; I have in my room two electric guitars, an electric base, a mandolin, and a keyboard, and dotted throughout the rest of the house and my musical possessions, you will find three acoustic guitars, one acoustic-electric guitar (jazz box like one of my electric guitars, but plays pretty great acoustic), a banjo, about a dozen mando's including mandolins, mandolas, mandochellos, and more. I also have some kalimbas, another keyboard, some violas, one violin, remnants of an old drum kit, and a grand piano.
That said, I can like chiptune like this:
SPvTW Sountrack - Threshold (8-bit)

...but that's about as far as my
threshold goes when it comes to laziness in computer-made music. I hate the music industry right now, with people falsely labeled as artists reaping in ungodly amounts of money for albums they can make in a week, and songs they can make in half-an-hour.
To get us on track, some music that would take weeks, even months and years to compose.
