Commissioned Officers Colonel [Col] Description: Overall leader of the regiment, managing high-level regiment matters and external affairs. Lieutenant Colonel [Lt.Col] Description: Oversees the regimental events and community-based initiatives. Major [Maj] Description: Administrative arm of the 1st Delaware, providing support to all levels of leadership to enhance operational performance. Captain [Capt] Description: Leader of the Company, commanding groups in combat and inspiring the members to fight better. Lieutenant [Lt] Description: Second in command of the Company; the officer in charge of enforcing operational standards within the Company. | Non-Commissioned Sergeant Major [SgtMaj] Description: Seasoned leader that excels in commanding individual infantry and specialist groups. They serve as role models to junior NCO's, promoting a professional attitude among the regiment's leaders. Sergeant [Sgt] Description: Battle-tested leaders that have proven to be reliable in leading infantry and/or specialist groups. Corporal [Cpl] Description: New NCOs who have completed their training. Now needs battlefield experience. | Enlisted Lance Corporal [LCpl] Description: New leaders that aspire to specialize in leading infantry by demonstrating their experience in training and combat if interested in leading. Regular [Rgl] Description: Generally, the longest serving members and have demonstrated a mastery of playing as line infantry, performing to high standards. Private First Class [PFC] Description: One of the longest serving members and have demonstrated a mastery of playing as line infantry, performing to high standards. The lowest rank at which someone can enter the NCO Training Program. Private [Pvt] Description: Members that have demonstrated a very good grasp on every aspect of line infantry. Recruit [Rct] Description: Activity-based rank. To progress beyond Recruit, the member must demonstrate success in perfecting their form within the line. Volunteer [Vol] Description: Probationary rank assigned until all requirements are met for promotion to Recruit. |
