Crosshair whilst in Melee - Cheating or not?

I just wanted to ask a simple question. If you are able to manage to get a crosshair whilst being in melee, does it count as cheating or not? Because I guess it's pretty helpful to actually aim your stabs if that makes sense.

Just curious about what you guys think.

Definitely not a cheat. You can enable the stab/block direction arrows, which sort of can help you align your stabs as well.

So a crosshair isn't a cheat and even if it was, what would stop you from putting a small dot in the middle of your monitor with something like a black marker. Xd

Yeah that may be right. The reason I was doubting it is because if there is a marker it kinda helps you where to aim etc. But thanks.
