one thing that was always cool about consoles is that everyone was on a level playing field. You didnt usually lose because you get low fps, or that guy has a higher hertz monitor than you or a better mouse or something.

Connectivity and ping issues have always been a problem on consoles and cause lots of shit between players.

A lot of console games still suffer from framedrops. A LOT. That coupled with connectivity issues and it's not that perfect, tbh.

As for the whole PC thing with people having better mouse and stuff. If someone really is a good player, he will always be good, no matter if he uses a €5,- mouse or a €150,- one. A fancier mouse really doesn't help you that much. Truly the only equipment that I can think of that is usefull is a good, clear sound setup, now THAT can make a lot of difference in a FPS game.

The way I've always seen it is that consoles are better when you want to play local multiplayer with your friends or family. You only need to buy one magic box, not one for each player, and everyone being together on the couch and socializing is more fun than people being in their own world with headphones on at a computer.

If you plan on playing a lot of singleplayer or competitive play without any damn auto-aim... then PC is where it's at.
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

And as such it is sad to see that most developers have stopped implementing split-screen multiplayer in games. Such a damn shame.

Here are some snapshots of the console version (very large, you have been warned):

There was mention of Warband being ready for Playstation in the info that you linked, nothing about development of Bannerlord for consoles. Was it actually written in the Turkish magazine that these are console screenshots? In any case, they look great, thanks for posting them. The version here is higher res than the one I've seen posted at Taleworlds, and you can really see the horse bard better. I love the way that lamellar looks! By the way, someone on Taleworlds forum said that the round hilt of that Khuzait sword was of Chinese origin and spread across the steppe of Central Asia, so that explains the hilt.

And as such it is sad to see that most developers have stopped implementing split-screen multiplayer in games. Such a damn shame.

Indeed, I remember split screen multiplayer fondly, from games like Lotus Turbo Challenge 3 on the Amiga back in the early 1990s, to the demo of Serious Sam on PC a decade later. Playing over the internet or even over a LAN in different rooms isn't the same.

PC is good but there is no such thing as masterrace. Each PC and Console have their good and weak points.

That's why I said

PC is way better than console. You can do everything a console can on a PC and then a million things more.
