SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: All things must come to an end.  As such, Cthulhu and I will be stepping down from the linebattle.  Sivart will be replacing me in my role as Admin-in-Chief of the linebattle and Nixa will be filling his role as "Underboss". As such, all other admins will be removed, and they will choose their own administration team.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: We will be adding some new assistant admins this week to help out with the event: Trapper Hat, SilentMatthew, Obsidian, Thunderstormer, Xethos, Mercer, and Skillz.

Also, with his child on the way, 5arge has decided it is time for him to finally retire.  He'll still be around some, but not as often as before.  He is the founder of the linebattle, and his contributions to it are countless.  He will be stepping down from full admin and will be left as Admin Emeritus.

-Special Roles will be assigned to regiments of adequate size and ability. They must follow rules for Infantry unless otherwise noted below.

It's in the first part of the Special Roles RULES.

Glad to see they teach reading comprehension in Sweden.  New Jersey's public education should follow suit.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:  The Tuesday Line Battles on December 24th and December 31st will not be taking place due to Christmas and New Year's Eves.  The Friday events on December 27th and July 3rd will take place as scheduled.

Implying linebattles aren't more important than the holidays.

We all can't be as dedicated to NW as fireboy is Shine.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: The timing system for the line battle has been adjusted. The new system is as follows:

-Each round will last 20 minutes

-If the time runs out during the round, the team with more players living will be awarded 1 point.

-If time runs out, and both teams are equal, both teams will be awarded 1 point.

-No additional time will be added.

-As before, the first team to 2 points win the map.
